Whatever your experience level, we can make speycasting effortless and fun for you. Skeena Spey offers private casting lessons by the hour as well as both half day and full day schools with all equipment provided. Just 15 minutes from town, our lodge location on the river is perfect for teaching. We have a casting dock as well as the ability to use jet boats to access both sides of the river on our longer schools. We are invested in your casting success.
Expert Tuition for all Ability Levels
Are you a beginner looking to learn to cast or an experienced caster in search of that next level performance and consistency? Our casting instruction team is led by FFF master certified speycasting instructor Brian Niska. One of only a handful of instructors to hold this designation (MCI/THMCI) with the Federation of Fly Fishers, Brian is able to teach all styles of both single and two handed casting. Brian is one of the originators of the modern northwest style of casting. A smooth blend of styles that enables efficiency with all types of equipment. Brian is the designer of the Pieroway Metal Detector rod series, a revolutionary design that generates incredible line speed with minimal effort.
