Angling in the winter and spring months is an invigorating experience. The weather can be snow, sun, wind and rain, all in the same day. The fish are fresh, bright chrome bars that will try and take all of your line. This is the time for winter steelhead and if your lucky, the first chinook salmon of the year.
Summer fishing on the Skeena is all about the excitement of potentially connecting with the fish of a lifetime, a giant chinook salmon fresh in from the ocean. This is also the time when the first steelhead and coho salmon of the year will be caught. Long summer days with amazing light and some of the best sunsets of the year make for an amazing backdrop to this memorable fishery.
